How to Putt like a Champion! Options

Greetings everybody!

Many CGS golfers have sampled some of the drills in the LAWS OF ACCURACY training program.

I'd like to take some of you through the practical program STEP-BY-STEP, starting with the Putting Drills - we'll tackle the Pitching Drills later.

For students who have started the Putting Drills, please write in and tell me your PERSONAL BEST in terms of distance achieved. The basic program goes up to 3m.

For those of you who haven't started doing the drills as of yet - lets start! Grab your putter and do the 10cm drill. Once you have attained that (which I have no doubt that you will), write in and tell the group. If you have attempted the drills in the past but gave up, that's OK! There's no better time than today to start them again!

As members on the forum go through the stages, one-by-one, tell us about your progress. I want everybody to graduate the Putting Drills program!

One more time for those of you who missed what I just said - YOU WILL IMPROVE YOUR PUTTING!!!

But I can hear some of you ask: "How can you be so confident?"
Good question! Let me explain!

What you are hinting at is this thing called DOUBT.

"Oh, it just won't work for me!" I hear you cry.

Doubt is your lack of belief in the program.

But try this experiment:

Hold a golf ball in your hand. Release it. What happened?
It dropped to the floor!

Do it again. But before you release it, tell yourself either mentally or aloud - "I don't believe the ball will drop to the floor". Release it again. What happened?
It dropped to the floor - again!

Why? Because "doubt" and "lack of belief" cannot over-power the laws of physics! Gravity is stronger than your doubt and belief system.

The LAWS OF ACCURACY are stonger than your belief system too! Even if you don't believe in the laws, doing the drills can only lead to one outcome - IMPROVED ACCURACY! Like gravity, it cannot be stopped!

Isaac Newton did not invent Gravity and laws of physics pertaining to it. It comes from nature. The LAWS OF ACCURACY also come from nature.

So, let's start today!

Do the first stage of the Putting Drill and report-in.

Just some considerations:

- Do the drills on a real green (outdoors) never on carpet.
- Change holes and angles daily.
- Start with a relatively EASY green - not too much of a slope (Read chapter on Law of Generalization)
- Only ONE stage per day (max) - we need time for adaptation to occur.
- Getting through the program will take time! Students will progress at different rates. It may take 6 months or more to graduate. It's not important how long it takes you to get through the program! What's important is that you get through it! And we're here to help!

Above All - DON'T GIVE UP! I'll Repeat: DON'T GIVE UP!
