Hi, would you say that it is harder to go left after impact given a certain order to the power accumulators? ie swing vs. hit I enjoy the sports science part of golf and I'm interested in a more accurate body sequence than what the K-vest and other 3D machines are giving us. From my experience, the current graph shows an earlier hip thrust translating to the torso, but if I want my hands to travel to the left after impact, I would have to keep some 'rotational strength and mobility' to support the path, no? My only thought is that the 3D analysis was done on current players and if it were accessible players from the 60s, we may see a different result. |

Dear Canada,
It is certain that if you wish you can use more muscular force and in doing so with the arms and shoulders you will disconnect their association with the hip rotation to varying degrees. This is a reason for inconsistencey for many golfers. If you call this a "Hitting Action" then you can expect the arms to fly off in a different direction to the hip rotation and power loss follows after impact very quickly. Homer Kelley states in the beginning of The Golfing Machine that for "People shaped golfers there is only one swing." This swing is based on the physics of rotation and therefore if the power accumulators are released in correct sequence, then the hip rotation through impact and into follow through is accelerating and adds to the release of arms, hands and clubhead and maximum power is released on the ball for what was loaded in the backswing. Therefore a golfer who wants "effortless power" and not "powerless effort" should takes the steps as laid out in the Online Step by Step Program - http://www.crokergolfsystem.com/stepProgram.htm Please sign up and test it out. I give a money back guarantee to all who do not find this to be true after completing all steps and answering the associated questions at each step! Thanks for such an indepth question. Kind Regards, Peter PS: Paul Hart is teaching in Sydney and will help greatly with "hands on" instruction. I am now teaching at The Golf Science Centre, Bay Road, Cheltenham, Melbourne, Australia as well as The Dunes in Rye, Victoria. Come visit with us for a full golf science experience. There are 2 TGM GSEM Instructors available there. |
